It is often nicknamed the “fairy tale castle” or the “Sleeping Beauty Castle”, because it is said to have inspired Charles Perrault in the creation of his famous tale. Indeed, the magical allure of this residence captivated the writer’s imagination.

These audio devices guide visitors through the castle and allow them to discover its fascinating history. The tour route has been carefully designed by our production department and is available in six languages, to welcome visitors from all over the world.
