The castle of Modave, built in the Middle Ages, was partially destroyed in the 17th century. Restored with a classical façade, it is now an elegant pleasure residence surrounded by beautiful French gardens. In 1993, it was classified as a Major Heritage Site of Wallonia for its historical importance.
The site was looking for a simple and accessible tour tool to guide visitors through the 25 rooms of the castle and allow them to discover its secrets. The team chose the Audioopen as the ideal solution.
Visitors can simply point their device at the numbered labels, arranged along the route, to access the corresponding audio content, available in 8 languages. The Audioopen is included in the price of the entrance ticket and the devices are offered on a self-service basis at the beginning of the visit.
